What is your long-term vision for AIB International?

Achieving our growth and profit goals is necessary to provide the education and services that our customers demand. I see AIB International increasingly leveraging technology to support our growth, while making the business more efficient and providing better customer service. Having the right information available where it is needed, when it is needed, is critical to support AIB International’s mission, customers, and stakeholders.

How do you describe your leadership style and personal business philosophy?

I believe in respect for individuals, open communication, and building teams to support a common goal. I enjoy the challenge of growing our business and having the opportunity to learn as we expand. I constantly challenge my team on the value of what we provide. Understanding the value of the services we provide and how to provide them efficiently is paramount.

How do you show leadership outside the office?

I participate in professional organizations such as Financial Executives International and the Institute of Management Accountants, and support charities such as Harvesters, ARC, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

What do you do when you’re not working?

I enjoy watching sports, especially baseball and football, from Kansas City’s professional teams (go Royals and Chiefs!) to college sports and games my kids, nieces, and nephews play.

My wife and I support the performing arts in the Kansas City area, and we enjoy traveling, movies, and Kansas City barbeque!
