The BRCGS Ethical Trade and Responsible Sourcing (ETRS) course is a two-day seminar that provides training for manufacturers, secondary processing and packaging sites, as well as service providers. This training provides in-depth understanding and guidance to implement key principles and requirements of the BRCGS ETRS Standard. This standard provides a framework for evaluating an organization’s management system capability and capacity to deliver against the principles of ethical trade and responsible sourcing.

As a BRCGS Approved Training Provider (ATP) and five-star rated BRCGS certification body, our trainers are highly qualified and aligned with the BRCGS training philosophy.

Following completion of this training, you will be equipped to:

  • Understand the background, benefits, key principles, and requirements of the ETRS Standard
  • Apply the audit approach and methodology and explain the key differences between this and an audit against a different standard
  • Outline the details of the audit and certification program
  • Determine and plan an audit scope
  • Understand why audits are necessary and how to address nonconformities and corrective actions
  • Effectively report issues and use BRCGS resources
  • Understand the BRCGS compliance program
