College Credit - Upper Iowa University
Upper Iowa University will award 20 credit hours for completion of AIB's 16-week Baking Science
and Technology course and 13 credit hours for completion of the 11-week Maintenance Engineering
course.
The credits are available as electives to students who enroll in one of the 11 baccalaureate
degree programs offered at Fort Riley, Fort Leavenworth, or any of the off- campus centers located
in Iowa, Wisconsin, or Louisiana. The credits would also apply to programs at the UIU campus in
Fayette, Iowa.
To receive the credit, current and past students should ask AIB to send an official transcript
to the university's Fort Riley office located in Building 215, room 140 on the Main Post at Fort Riley.
Tuition for courses offered by UIU at Fort Riley and Fort Leavenworth is $152 a credit
hour for the 2008-2009 term or $456 per course. UIU courses are eligible for VA benefits. Financial aid and tuition assistance are
also available.
