Terms and Conditions

This Enrollment Agreement shall not be altered or amended except by written agreement signed by both parties.

AIB requires a $45 registration fee (non-refundable) to be considered for admission to a resident course.

International students: If an I-20MN visa application is needed AIB requires a $500 deposit before the I-20MN will be issued. Should the student be denied a visa, the $500 deposit will be refunded upon notification of withdrawal.

All deposits, including the registration fee, will be refunded if the applicant notifies AIB of withdrawal in writing, within three (3) days of application and payment.

AIB will refund all deposits if the applicant notifies AIB in writing of the intention to withdraw at least 30 days prior to start of class.

Students withdrawing from enrollment after classes begin will receive tuition based on a pro-rated basis according to number of days attended (per Refund Policy, page 7, Curricula Catalog).

When a student withdraws without written notice to AIB, termination shall take effect seven (7) calendar days following the last day of attendance at AIB. For purpose of refund, the terminating student shall be presumed to have attended classes between the start of class and the date of termination.

AIB reserves the right to expel any student for non-payment of agreed fees and tuition, for conduct reflecting discredit on the professional and ethical standards of AIB, or failure to maintain a passing grade average.

No delay on the part of AIB in taking action under this Agreement shall be deemed a waiver of any of its rights.

Upon the satisfactory completion of the entire course of study, and upon payment of all tuition, fees and obligations due from the student, AIB shall deliver to the student a Certificate of Graduation.

Student also agrees to release and forever discharge AIB and all agents, representatives, and employees of said corporation, and their successors, from all claims and demands whatsoever which I, my heirs, executors and administrators, have or may have against said corporation or its successors, agents, representatives, or employees, by reason of my participation in any field trip, excursion, or other event sponsored by said AIB and any consequences resulting directly or indirectly.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: (students not from the United States) be sure to send $545 for registration and deposit, if an I-20MN visa application is needed. The I-20MN will not be processed without the registration fee and deposit! See wiring instructions below if necessary.

Upon admission, all students are expected to sign the Enrollment Agreement shown below.

Enrollment Agreement

Upon admission to AIB, you will be expected to sign the following agreement (the agreement will be mailed to you or you will be expected to sign it upon arrival at AIB):

The above named student and AIB agree as follows:

AIB agrees to furnish this student the Baking Science and Technology course of study beginning _______________________________. AIB reserves the right to revise the content or length of the course of study if it deems any such revision to be necessary of advisable.

If the requested and upon satisfactory completion of the course of study, AIB will, without additional charge, assist student in his or her efforts to obtain employment. However, student understands that AIB cannot and does not promise or guarantee that student will find or be provided with employment following satisfactory completion of the course of study. Student records will be kept on file with AIB indefinitely for the student’s future reference.

In consideration of such course of study and related service, student agrees to pay a total in the amount of $__________ to AIB as follows:

Student agrees to comply with the policies, rules and regulations of AIB, and student understands that his or her failure to comply with the standards, rules and regulations of AIB will entitle AIB to terminate this Agreement with no prior notice to the student. In the event of such termination, the refund policy set forth following hereof shall apply.

It is understood that this Agreement sets forth the entire agreement, between the parties and that AIB makes no representations or warranties other than those expressed in this Agreement.

Notice to student. Student may cancel this agreement at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the date the student signs this agreement (See Refund Policy)
