Production Quality Audits
The Production Quality Audit program examines the criteria that allows
conformity to production efficiency and customer product specifications. The
criteria are grouped as:
- Control of incoming ingredients - storage conditions, code dating,
separation of allergen containing ingredients, proper label declarations,
specifications and COA on file.
- Product handling, packaging and storage - product loss during
packaging, efficiency of change-over, product segregation, order entry
efficiency and storage temperature control.
- Control of non-conforming products - percentage of
non-conforming product as it compares to industry standards, use of
rework (from dough/from finished product), handling and storage
conditions of rework material.
Audits can be customized to fit your needs. A graduated program of service
levels will offer a range of quality auditing programs from single day
evaluations to a series of scheduled in-plant visits.
At the conclusion of the audit, recommendations are given for improvement and
cost savings.
