AIB-CB is accredited by UKAS to the ISO/IEC Guide 65 that is required for certification bodies to carry out audits
to the BRC Global Standard - Food. This is in addition to the many other food
safety services that AIB can offer. The evaluation audits are carried out by trained and experienced
AIB Food Safety Auditors and involve thorough inspection of the process plant along with the Quality
Management and Food Safety programs/systems (namely HACCP) that are in place. Certification to this
standard can be used as part of a Company's due diligence defense and as a tool to ensure the safe
manufacture (processing, packing and distribution) of the food products that are produced.
