FSSC 22000 Food Safety System including ISO 22000 and PAS 220

AIB International Certification Body [AIBI-CB] can now offer fully licensed certification to the FSSC 22000 standard which includes PAS 220 and a provisional license for FSSC 22000 and PAS 223, packaging. This is a certification scheme based on the International Organization of Standards Food Safety Management System Standard ISO 22000 and the British Standards Institute PAS 220:2008 specification for food safety program prerequisites. The certification scheme is managed by the Foundation for Food Safety Certification (FSSC) based in the Netherlands. This scheme is a certification program based on HACCP principles and designed to provide international harmonization in the field of food safety for all participants in the food supply chain. The GFSI has given final approval to this scheme.

AIBI-CB is accredited by UKAS to the ISO/IEC Guide 65 and to ISO 17021 required for certification bodies to carry out audits to the FSSC 22000 scheme.
